General Tips
1. Hard Hand: a hand that does not include an ace. What you see on your two cards is your total count, such as 9 + 8 = 17.
2. Under the assumption that the dealer doesn’t have a blackjack and that he stands on a soft 17, if he has a 2 and you have an 8 and 5, your best option would be to hit.
3. Consider the following when engaging in a game of blackjack (two decks); whenever the dealer appears not to have a blackjack though standing on a soft 17, if he has a 5 and you have a 7 and 3, you’d better double down.
